I write personal essays, quiet thoughts, and reflections on the things that stick with me, childhood memories, grief, odd moments, and art.
I’m also a painter. Mostly still lifes and landscapes in oil. I try to catch a feeling before it fades, even if it’s messy. You’ll see time-lapse videos of my paintings, the objects that inspire them, and the stories behind each one.
This space is where I try to say what I mean and show how I feel. Writing helps. Painting helps more.
I’m doing this for my kids. For Clara, my granddaughter. For anyone who wants to know what it’s like to be a man trying to make sense of things.
